The race between U.S. Senator Ed Markey and Congressman Seth Moulton is tightening, with a mere 5-point gap. The latest Emerson survey found that Markey leads Moultton 37% to 32%, with 29% of voters undecided. The survey also found that while Markey has significant leads among registered Democrats, women, and men, while Moulpton holds an edge among unenrolled voters. This follows Markey's recent 19-point lead over Moulon in a UMass Amherst/WCVB poll. Other top Democrats in the survey were Markey, Elizabeth Warren, and Maura Healey. The poll also found voters would vote yes on a potential ballot measure to change the current party primary system in Massachusetts to include all-party candidates in the general election.
