Two new images from NASA's James Webb Space Telescope and Hubble Space Telescope have been released by the agency for the first time, showing different aspects of Saturn, including its atmosphere, and its orbiting moons. The images were taken by the James Webb and Hubble space telescopes and could be some of the last high-resolution views of the hexagon until the 2040s, as Saturn's north pole is about to tip into 15 years of winter darkness. These images allow scientists to study Saturn's atmosphere to understand how large, planet-size storms grow and thrive, and provide further insight into how the planet formed and evolved over billions of years.
