The final event of the popular grassroots event, Alley Art Festival, will occur for the first time on August 29 in Aurora, Illinois. The festival, established in 2010, has been showcasing local artists from within the region for over a decade. The final event will be held on Water Street Mall and Downer Place. Event Director Marissa Amoni stated that while the outdoor event will end, it will continue to promote the arts and offer classes.
