Apple's Cue expects F1 movie sequel, hopes for more global TV expansion

Apple's Senior Vice-President of Services Eddy Cue expects a sequel to Brad Pitt's F1 Movie, which cost an estimated $200 million to make and grossed $634 million. The company also plans to expand its Formula One involvement globally following securing the U.S. broadcast rights. Apple TV took over from Walt Disney's ESPN this season as the exclusive U.N. broadcaster of Formula One, providing live coverage of all 24 rounds. The CEO, John Defterios, expressed his intention to play a significant role in growing the sport globally.
