Three generations of the same family have graduated from Utah Valley University (UVU) with bachelor's degrees at the same time. Melissa Davis, her mother, and grandmother Diana Flygare all received their degrees from the same university. However, the women insist that the timing of their graduation was a coincidence and they didn't know they were all on track to graduate until December. Melissa, who already had a master's degree in English, chose public health over a close match to her passion for access to healthy foods. Diana and Hadley Davis also received degrees in psychology.
