The Los Angeles Police Chief Jim McDonnell stated that investigators have not yet found a motive for the shooting that occurred outside Rihanna's Beverly Crest neighborhood on March 8. About 10 rounds were fired from an AR-15 from a vehicle parked across the street and at least one bullet pierced a wall of the mansion where Rihanna lives with her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, and their three children. The suspect, identified as 35-year-old from Florida, was arrested and booked for attempted murder, with bail set at $10,225,000. No injuries were reported during the shooting.
