On March 29, 1951, Julius and Ethel Rosenberg were convicted of conspiracy to commit espionage for the Soviet Union, a case that was part of Cold War fervor in America. Their trial was sensational and their execution took place in June 1953. However, court records recently revealed that Ethel's brother, David Greenglass, had never implicated his sister in an earlier appearance before a grand jury. The case remains controversial today, but it makes for great investigation.
