Protesters gathered at McCarty Park in Aurora, Chicago, to voice their concerns about the actions of the Trump administration. This is one of many “No Kings” rallies taking place across the country. Event organizer Stephanie Bernet of Aurora stated her vision for the gathering was to focus on the community and connect them with each other. Among those who spoke at the rally were Aurora Mayor John Laesch and state Sen. Karina Villa, D-West Chicago. Participants said the rallies are making a difference and raising awareness about the administration's actions.
