The 2025-26 Beacon-News/Courier-News Boys Wrestling All-Area Team includes six individual state champions, including three from repeat dual team state winner Marmion. Jackson Allen, Yorkville Christian, senior, 215 pounds, finished sixth in Class 1A and went 46-10. He led Mustangs to dual team sectional. Demetrios Carrera won the Class 3A state title and finished 43-5. Cooper Corder, Sandwich, junior, 150, won the class 1A state championship. Kai Enos, Batavia, sophomore, 120, won Class 2A and also won sectional title. Joey Favia, Marmite senior, heavyweight, and Ashton Hobson were two-time dual team champions. Nicholas Garcia was named the 25-year-old Player of the Year. Zach Stewart, Marmione senior, 138, won second Class 3 A state championship and finished 53-2.
