Point Pleasant, New Jersey, has promoted its police officers to include Ryan Barker, Brian Fennessy, Kyle Rosenfeld and Samantha Martuscelli, who both graduated from the Ocean County Police Academy and were sworn in to the force. Barker, a 2005 graduate of Point Pleasant Borough High School, served with the Point Pleasant Beach Police Department from 2010 to 2012 before joining the force and has served as a patrol officer, field training officer, and firearms instructor. Additionally, Barker was chosen for the Ocean county Prosecutor’s Office SWAT Team in 2017 and serves as a team leader and master tactical breacher. Fennessh has worked for the Borough of Point Point Pleasant for over 30 years and is a certified active shooter instructor and tactical medical instructor.
