A 17-year-old girl from Dublin has admitted to harassing her teacher, using fake Instagram accounts and keeping hundreds of child abuse images on her phone. The girl, whose identity is obscured due to her age, used edited, inappropriate images of the teacher and threatened her with threats and sexualised content. She was given 12 months of supervised probation and a 10-year ban from contacting the teacher for 10 years. The teacher, who initially ignored the messages, has since attended counselling and is now attending a school in the wake of the case. The court heard that the girl used fake names and sent images of herself, including altered images of her teacher and threats.
