Buncombe County mother charged with murdering infant son

A Buncombe County mother, Ciara Frederick, has been charged with murdering her 10-month-old son, Enoch Chappell, with multiple stab wounds. She was arrested and charged with first-degree murder and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon. The child was taken to hospital where he died. The next court appearance will be a probable cause hearing.
