Sapphire Princess cruise ship recovers 5 bodies from sea during 3-hour mission

The Sapphire Princess cruise ship, which was en route to Cartagena, Spain, discovered five bodies believed to be migrants pulled from the sea during a three-hour recovery mission. The object, which turned out to be a lifejacket, was spotted in the western Mediterranean Sea at 6 p.m. on Tuesday and the ship was turning around due to the discovery of an orange life jacket. The bodies were then moved onto the ship and the cruise ship moved off again, but another was found at 7:47 p.am. The cruise ship was between the coasts of Spain and North Africa and docked at Cartagana in Spain. The victims are not passengers or crew of the cruise vessel, nor are guests or employees.
