Man sentenced to 50 years in deadly Orange County road rage shooting

Nael Abraham was convicted of murdering Eric Schnetzer in 2020 road rage shooting in Orange County, California. The shooting occurred at the intersection of Orange Blossom Trail and Consulate Drive. Prosecutors claim that Abraham chased Schnetz through traffic before pulling alongside his vehicle and then fired a shot into Schnetzz's car, killing him. In a previous statement to the court, Abraham acknowledged responsibility for the shooting and expressed his desire to see the empty chair at the table.
