Di Jin, a Sunnyvale man, claims that the Waymo car that took him to the San Jose Mineta Airport did not open the trunk for him to retrieve his luggage before driving off. The company now requires him to pay for shipping or take two complimentary Waymo rides to the depot in San Francisco to retrieve the luggage. This incident follows a similar incident in which a Waymo rider accidentally left his tennis gear behind the vehicle.
