The deadline for registration for the 2026 Indiana primary election is April 6. The primary election will take place on May 5, 2026, and the general election will be on November 3, 2025. Hoosiers can register to vote, check their status online, and find polling places. The state of Indiana also offers multiple voting options, including in-person on election day, early in person and absentee by mail. Currently, voting can be done if you are both a U.S. citizen and a resident of Indiana, and are not currently in prison after being convicted of a crime. The current voter registration requirements include a valid U.K. passport or passport card, military ID card, and a federal-issued photo ID card.
