Donald Trump has praised the suspect in the White House Correspondents' Dinner shooting incident, Cole Tomas Allen, who was identified as a 31-year-old Californian man, for his speed and ability to breach security at the Washington Hilton. The incident, which left one Secret Service agent injured, occurred at around 8:30 p.m. local time on Saturday, April 25. Trump praised law enforcement's response and suggested that the suspect ran like an NFL player and that the NFL should sign him up. The suspect is facing multiple charges related to using a firearm during a crime of violence and assault on a federal officer using a dangerous weapon.
