Carrie Ann Inaba, a judge and professional dancer, experienced a medical emergency during a flight from Los Angeles to New York on April 16. She was transported to the emergency room and treated for severe symptoms, including dizziness, a cold sweat, and numb arms. Despite being locked in the bathroom during turbulence, Inaba was able to recover and was discharged after receiving IV fluids. She has several autoimmune conditions, including Sjögren's syndrome, lupus, fibromyalgia, and antiphospholipid syndrome, which can lead to blood clots.
