Portland Fire sign top expansion draft pick Bridget Carleton

The Portland Fire has officially signed former Iowa State player Bridget Carleton, their top pick in the WNBA expansion draft. Carleton has played seven seasons in the league, primarily with the Minnesota Lynx. She was named the designated player by the team. The team was allowed to select one player taken as a potential unrestricted free agent.
