MacBook Neo kicks PC ass and takes names... all the names

Apple's new $599 MacBook Neo has been praised for its single-core performance, outperforming any other mobile processor from AMD, Intel, or Qualcomm. A report by Notebook Check has found that the MacBook Neo, with its A18 Pro chip, ranks third behind Apple's M4 and M5 MacBook Air. The report also compared budget laptops from Acer, Asus, HP, Lenovo, and others with chips from AMD and Intel. The study found that budget Windows laptops will be left in the dust in terms of performance. However, users can still enjoy all the power by using the Neo as a virtual machine in Parallels Desktop.
