Guilty Verdict In Cold Case Killing Of Salem State Student

A jury has convicted John Carey of first-degree murder in the 1986 killing of 20-year-old Salem State University student, Claire Gravel. Recent DNA testing revealed that Carey's DNA was found on the murder weapon. The penalty for murder is life without parole. The sentencing will take place on March 26.
