The Swedish Security Service (SAPO) has identified the main threats to Sweden, with Russia, China and Iran listed in its annual report. These threats have come from the Russian state, particularly in support of its war in Ukraine. The SAPO also noted that criminal networks in Sweden have been used to carry out violent acts. The U.S.-Israeli military operation against Iran has also increased the threat.
