TSA absences remain steady Thursday as shutdown continues

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has reported a steady 9.8% absenteeism rate for its 50,000 officers, compared to 10.2% on Wednesday. This rate was significantly higher at major airports such as New York's JFK, New Orleans, New York City, and Atlanta. The TSA is currently under the influence of a federal government shutdown.
