India’s First Ray Films Unveils Six-Picture Slate for Cannes Film Market as Banner Enters Second Decade

First Ray Films, a Mumbai-based production company founded by actor-filmmaker Anshuman Jha, has revealed a six-picture slate for the Cannes Film Market. The films cover 2026 to 2028, with two titles scheduled for Indian theatrical release this year. The company's director, Harish Vyas, is set to direct "Om Ka Hari" and "Lakadbaggha 2: The Monkey Business". Two further titles are slated for 2028: "But First, The Burning," directed by Devashish Makhija, and "Dhoori". The company aims to create an ecosystem for young filmmakers who understand the importance of marketing and distribution to reach audiences.
