Carlos Ulberg won the vacant Ultimate Fighting Championship light heavyweight title with a knockout from former champion Jiri Prochazka in the main event of UFC 327 in Miami. Despite nearly losing the fight due to a knee injury, Ulberg delivered a perfect left hook to Proachazka's chin and won the title. The win was made after former champion Alex Pereira vacated the belt to compete for the interim heavyweight crown at UFC Freedom 250 at the White House. In the co-main event, Azamat Murzakanov defeated Paulo Costa, ending his undefeated record with a quick knockout.
