Scammers Sending Texts Posing as Dallas Municipal Court

The Dallas Police Department has issued a warning about a fraudulent scam that involves individuals pretending to be the Dallas Municipal Court. The department has received reports of individuals seeking payment from the fraudulent site or making payments through a fraudulent QR code. The scam is being investigated by the Department of Energy and the police. The city and municipal court do not request payments via unsolicited text messages or QR codes, nor does anyone else.
