Albuquerque developer Samir Patel is bringing the Aloft Hotel brand to New Mexico, which he expects to open in summer 2027. The Aloft hotel, which is described as a "tech-forward" brand of Marriott, broke ground in December on a vacant plot near the Albuquerque International Sunport. The 58,000-square-foot hotel will be four stories tall and include 109 rooms, with nightly rates between $149 and $199. The hotel’s amenities include an Aloft full bar concept called WXYZ Bar, a pool table, outdoor swimming pool and patio, and soundproofing infrastructure to limit sound from nearby jets. The project will cost between $22 million and $24 million to develop.
