Former US Treasury Secretary, Larry Summers, has been expelled from The National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) over his relationship with late Jeffrey Epstein. This follows a lifetime ban from The American Economic Association. NBER president James Poternowne stated that an ad hoc committee reviewed Summers' conduct and recommended his dismissal.
