Russian ex-MMA fighter Matvei Rumiantsev has been sentenced to four years in prison for assault and two years for perverting the court of justice. The 23-year-old was convicted in January of attacking his ex-girlfriend during a FaceTime call with President Trump's son, Barron, two days before the inauguration of the 47th president. Rumiantev was described as a "man given to jealousy" and "totally unrepentant". He may be deported from the UK due to his crimes. The assault was carried out in a drunken rage after seeing an incoming call from Barron on the woman's phone.
