Sunshine is expected to settle into the forecast for the end of the weekend in Detroit, with temperatures expected to rise from the 40s to the mid-50s, and temperatures rising by around 10° degrees Fahrenheit. However, there are also potential showers and thunderstorms expected for Monday night, with a potential severe weather outbreak possible through the Midwestern United States into the Ohio Valley. Forecasters are also keeping an eye on a potential cold front rolling through the region, which will warm temperatures to the upper 60s by Tuesday afternoon, before colder air will move in by Wednesday of the week. High temperatures are expected to remain below average, with highs expected to reach the upper 50s by Wednesday.
