Devin Austin Bishop, a 29-year-old Manchester man, has been charged with assaulting a federal officer and failing to report his arrival and present himself for inspection at the U.S.-Canada border on Feb. 22. During the pursuit, Bishop allegedly drove at high speed and veered into the outbound lane to Lubec in Maine, where he allegedly assaulted and attempted to steal the officer's firearm.
