The gothic thriller, “The Bride!” starring Penélope Cruz and Peter Sarsgaard, is set to play detective Jake Wiles in the film. The film, directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal, is about the bride of Frankenstein and follows a love story involving the detective trying to track down Frankenstein and his bride. Deco's bridezilla Alex Miranda spoke with Cruz and Sarsgard about their love stories and their professional experiences. Cruz also commented on the lack of gender equality in her portrayal of the character Myrna Mallow, who does twice the work for half the respect.
