Andy Serkis' animated adaptation of George Orwell's literary classic, "Animal Farm," has finally arrived on screens nationwide. The film, which has been done for 15 years, stars Seth Rogen, Gaten Matarazzo, and Nathanathan. The adaptation is part of a larger effort to make the film more appealing for adults and reflects Orwell's disdain for Communism, fascism, and totalitarianism. This is the third film adaptation of the book; in 1954, an animated version was secretly funded by the CIA as part of Cold War opposition to Communist Russia. The message of the film is clear: All animals are equal.
