Floyd Parrott, the alleged killer of a Houston couple nearly 40 years ago, has been arrested in Lincoln, Nebraska. The arrest was made by an FBI SWAT team after years of investigation and surveillance. He is accused of murdering 21-year-old Andy Atkinson and murdering 22-year old Cheryl Henry in a similar manner. Parroatt's DNA was taken from him after a 1996 sexual assault, which was recently entered into a national database, a match to the DNA found during Henry's autopsy and another 1990 sexual assault. His charges make him eligible for the death penalty under Texas law. The Harris County District Attorney is now seeking a governor's warrant to extradite Parroott to Texas for capital murder.
