A transport vessel carrying a humpback whale, named Timmy, is nearing the North Sea after a days-long journey. The whale was stranded off Germany's Baltic coast for four weeks before volunteers managed to transfer it onto a barge. The transport vessel is now being pulled towards the north Sea, where Timmy is set to be freed. However, some experts believe Timmy has become severely disoriented and it remains unclear how the animal will react after being freed. The Danish Environment Ministry stated that if necessary, no human intervention will be made.
