18-year-old North Carolina woman charged after threats made against Jewish congregation, school in Houston

An 18-year-old woman living in North Carolina has been charged with two counts of felony conspiracy. The threats were reportedly made to the Congregation Beth Israel and its Shlenker School on Wednesday, April 22. The Jewish Federation of Houston issued a statement saying the Houston Police Depaertment had warned them of potential threats. Other Jewish instituations remained open throughout the day.
