Vibe coding could mark the end of the App Store review process as we know it

The use of agentic coding (aka "vibe coding") has caused a significant increase in app review, with many developers reporting longer wait times when submitting updates for app review than previously. This shift comes as Apple reviews each app submission and update submitted to the App Store with human reviewers. However, this system is not working, with numerous developers reporting delays in the review process, with some people being stuck in review for 3+ days, and others reporting a delay of up to a week. The author suggests that short-term solutions include human review for new app submissions, but app updates can be automated, or separate app review queue for established developers.
