Fast start for Marlins leads to 2-1 win on Opening Day

The Miami Marlins defeated the Colorado Rockies 2-1 on Opening Day, marking the second consecutive year under manager Clayton McCullough that the team has won. The victory was largely attributed to right-hander Sandy Alcantara's seven innings and a two-run second. Christopher Morel, who was injured during the game, also contributed to the scoreline. The team was 2-0 ahead of the game.
