Milwaukee Health Department briefly shuts down another Third Ward restaurant

The Milwaukee Health Department briefly shut down another restaurant in the Third Ward, The Blue Bat Kitchen and Tequilaria, near Water and Buffalo streets, at 2 p.m. Monday. A reinspection was conducted and the restaurant reopened at 11 a.m., following several issues requiring temporary closure. The health department also closed The Wicked Hop for several days due to cockroaches in the food storage area and prep kitchen.
