The latest Cabinet shake-up has indicated that the administration is entering a new phase after former Attorney General Pam Bondi was dismissed, following the dismissal of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem. This follows a departure from his first term, with the relative stability of the administration's inner circle compared to his predecessor's "no scalps policy". The potential replacement for Bondi is likely to be Todd Blanche, now the acting attorney general and the president's personal attorney, who has served as the deputy AG, and has been the public face of the Justice Department on some of the thorniest issues. The president is also considering Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin for the position.
