'It's Better!': Bill Maher Applauds DOJ Move To Bring Back Firing Squad Executions

Bill Maher has endorsed the Justice Department's decision to reintroduce firing squads as a federal execution method, stating it is better than the current chemical process. Panelist Sarah Isgur argued that the method does not violate the 8th Amendment and that it is part of a trend of Americanizing capital punishment. The DOJ has announced it will add firing squads to its approved execution methods. No federal execution has been performed by firing squads.
