City of Tamarac celebrates singer Wyclef Jean, sister with key to the city to kick off Haitian Heritage Month

The City of Tamarac has honored Wyclef Jean and his sister, Melky Jean, with the key to the city for their contributions to music, business, and humanitarian work. The ceremony was held to kick off Haitian Heritage Month. The recognition is part of a larger celebration of Wychef's contributions to philanthropic causes such as promoting his home country of Haiti and raising funds for the 2010 earthquake.
