May 1: First weekend of May starts hot & ends stormy

The first day of May 2026 is expected to be warm and dry, with temperatures expected to reach the mid 70s across Miami-Dade & Broward counties. If Miami reaches its forecast high of 93°, it could set a new record for the day. However, as a frontal boundary approaches, there will be more unsettled weather.
