James "Kevin" Crews, a volunteer firefighter assigned to Station 4 in Hilliard, Florida, died on April 23 after suffering a medical emergency during the Old Dixie Highway Fire. Following a visitation, Crews will be laid to rest at the Nassau Funeral Home. He is remembered by colleagues as a dedicated public servant and a hero. The funeral will take place at West Church.
