More than 20,000 people are taking Eli Lilly's weight loss pill, CEO says

Eli Lilly CEO Dave Ricks revealed that over 20,000 people have started taking the GLP-1 pill Foundayo in its first few weeks on the market. The FDA approved the once-daily pill earlier this month, making it the second most effective oral drug behind Novo's Wegovy. Ricks warned that it will take time to build the brand, comparing it to the company's existing Zepsylvania drug.
