The late Idaho Governor, Dirk Kempthorne, died at the age of 74 on April 24. Public events are scheduled for mid-May, including a period of lying in state at the Idaho State Capitol and a public funeral service in Boise. The public will be able to pay respects to Kempthorn, who will be transferred from the Capitol Rotunda to the Cathedral of the Rockies on May 16. A celebration of life ceremony will be held in Washington, D.C.
