SAG-AFTRA applauds the Trump Admin’s new AI policy framework

The Screen Actors Guild–American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) has praised the President's new AI policy framework, which aims to protect human creativity. The union, led by actor Sean Astin, argued that disputes over the unauthorized training of AI models on copyrighted works should be adjudicated by the courts without new legislation. The Motion Picture Association (MPA) also endorsed the policy. The White House's new policy aims to respect the creative works and unique identities of American innovators, creators, and publishers in the age of AI.
