Taylor Sheridan's new series, Frisco King, is set to air on Paramount+ and follows Samuel L. Jackson's character, Russell Lee Washington Jr., as he leaves Tulsa for a new life in North Texas. The series is a spinoff of the hit series Tulsa King and is scheduled to begin filming in Fort Worth this month. Sheridan, who has written and produced several hit shows, is known for weaving iconic local locations into his storytelling. The show will be set in Cowtown, but it is expected that recognizable Collin County destinations will also make cameos.
