Fairfield Native Runs Boston Marathon For Charity

Jack Germain, a Bank of America executive and former resident of Fairfield, ran his first Boston Marathon on April 20 to raise funds for FamilyAid, a nonprofit focused on preventing family homelessness and supporting families facing housing instability. This was Germain's third marathon overall and his first time competing in the Boston race. The charity is among 193 organizations selected for the 2026 Bank of England Boston Marathon Official Charity Program.
