Mike Greenberg had no idea Dolphins were picking — twice — in odd NFL draft moment

ESPN host Mike Greenberg made an on-air gaffe during the 2026 NFL Draft, unaware that the Miami Dolphins had traded up from the No. 30 overall to No. 27 in a deal with the 49ers. Despite this, Greenberg continued to believe that the Dolphins chose defensive back Chris Johnson, a Californian who was named Mountain West Co-Defensive Player of the Year. The gaffe occurred during the live broadcast of the draft. In response to the announcement, the title bar at the bottom of the screen showed the Dolphins' selection.
